Convert a Webpage to PDF in 3 Steps

From installation to your first PDF in under 30 seconds.

Add to Chrome — Free

Step-by-step guide

  1. 01

    Install the Extension

Click 'Add to Chrome' on the Chrome Web Store page. The extension installs in seconds and appears as an icon in your Chrome toolbar. No account or sign-up required.

Pin the extension to your toolbar for quick access: click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome and pin Webpage to PDF Converter.

  2. 02

    Navigate to the Webpage

Open the webpage you want to save as a PDF. Scroll through the full page to ensure all images and lazy-loaded content are visible before converting.

For cleaner article PDFs, try enabling Chrome's Reader Mode (the icon in the address bar) before converting — it removes ads and navigation.

  3. 03

    Click Download

Click the Webpage to PDF Converter icon in your Chrome toolbar. A panel will open — click Download to convert and save the PDF to your downloads folder immediately.

The PDF filename defaults to the page title. Rename it in your downloads folder if you need a custom name.

Advanced features

Merging Multiple Webpages

To combine multiple webpages into one PDF, open each page and add it to the conversion queue using the extension panel. Arrange the pages in your preferred order, then click Download to save the merged PDF.

Editing Before Download

After conversion, the extension gives you the option to review and edit the PDF before downloading. Use this to remove unwanted pages or reorder content.

Tips for the best results

  • 1Scroll to the bottom of long pages before converting to load all lazy-loaded images.
  • 2Use Chrome's Reader Mode for article pages to get a clean, ad-free PDF.
  • 3For dashboards or data-heavy pages, let the page fully load before converting.
  • 4Dark-mode pages may render with dark backgrounds — switch to light mode first for a cleaner PDF.
  • 5If a page has a fixed navigation bar, it may appear on every page of the PDF. Scrolling past it before converting can help.
